THE POSITION

For a newly created Campaign Center in Esbjerg, consisting of employees from TOTAL, SEMCO and Muehlhan, we are currently looking for an experienced and powerful HSE Lead Campaign, based in Esbjerg. The HSE Lead Campaign will be the front link to manage HSE work in the offshore oil- and gas projects, that Muehlhan and Semco carry out for TOTAL.

The position is new in the organization and you become part of a department of 65 employees of Campaign Center. The majority of the workforce is Danish, with a diverse minority of expatrates. You will refer to the SHEQ Director, who is located in the headquarters in Middelfart. In everyday life, you will be in close contact and coordinate your work with the Head of Offshore Operations, who is located in the Esbjerg Muehlhan office. You will be working in the Campaign Center in Esbjerg.

You will be responsible for supporting the Campaign Team with HSE guidance for planning and execution of the campaign activities. Serving as subject matter expert for safe working practices (e.g. hot work, confined space entry, working at height) for the planning and execution of campaigns. You will ensure compliance with TOTAL procedures and engagement with the HSE Team on- and offshore.

MAIN TASKS

This role requires constant and consistent identification and engagement with stakeholders. Pro-actively identify risks and challenges and provide support to enable safe and efficient execution of the campaign activities. Support the Campaign Team to develop a consistent safety culture and way of working.

  • Evaluate inherent risks in the Campaign Teams preventative & corrective maintenance and construction scopes to adequately plan and resource for safe execution of work
  • Assist teams to ensure adequate task risk assessments / safe job analysis for all offshore work
  • Provide HSE inductions and training as required
  • Development of HSE Plans and review of HSE documentation
  • Participate in HSE evaluation of contractors involved in the execution of activities
  • Accountable for providing a professional level of effective HSE support to the Campaign Team
  • Ensure compliance with TOTAL Rules regarding safe work policies, strategies, processes, standards and guidelines
  • HSE coaching and guidance to the Campaign Team and Contractors

THE CANDIDATE

Your have probably a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Occupational Health/Industrial Hygiene or technical field, preferably Occupational Health & Safety. Further more you are willing to obtain and maintain current BOSIET Certificate and offshore medical. You are

You have experience from a similar position, and you have minimum 10 years of experience from offshore oil & gas, gained in Maintenance, Construction, or as a HSE Advisor or Manager.

You have solid knowledge of national and international offshore health & safety legislation, sufficient to offer good advice without having to go back to to documentation.

You are analytically strong, has a problem solving mindset and you are an excellent communicator, both orally and written and have interpersonal skills.

You thrive well in a very independent role, where quick decisions are often made and it is important that you are politically involved and thrive in a multi-agenda organization.

You have a positive approach to people, can listen and have the ability to coach and teach your employees in a positive way. Furthermore, you are robust, calm and balanced.

As part of the job, you are expected to travel offshore to conduct safety briefings, inspections, audits and general communication activities as required. (Approx. 25-30 days a year)

You have excellent computer skills with proficiency in the use of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and fluent in English orally and written. Fluency in Danish is preferred.

PLACE OF RECIDENSE

You live within 1 hour drive from Esbjerg and you are willing to drive in your own car to different sites in Denmark or travel abroad.
