Context :
•On the Danish continental shelf, Total E&P Denmark (TEPDK) operates 16 fields from 50 offshore platforms. Main manned platforms in year 2021 are Dan, Halfdan and Gorm. The Tyra platforms will be under re-development until 2023.
Your activities will be the following:
•Contribute to the continuous development efficiency of the Corrosion Management System
•Follow up on corrosion-mitigation & monitoring compliance
•Review Corrosion-Monitoring and Inspection results regularly and assess together in view of providing a global evaluation of the corrosion development and status of the integrity
•Engage with Production Chemistry in relation to injection programs are in line with the respective Corrosion Management Manuals for each site •Contributes to the definition of the corrosion monitoring methods for checking the efficiency of the treatments and variations of the anti-corrosion injection instructions
•Perform failure investigations and analyses of internal and external corrosion issues to prevent reoccurring failures
•Support maintenance of live database of all FFS cases and temporary repairs. Issue monthly report on statistics to concerned parties
•Support the upkeep of the coating database based on external inspection results. Support the development and ongoing updates of the Corrosion Management Manuals of the Affiliate
•Support the corrosion assessment based on corrosion loops across the affiliate
•Update corrosion related guidelines and procedures
•Support the Corrosion Lead or Corrosion Engineers with day to day tasks
Depending on your interest and background One or more of the below listed tasks can be added:
Optional:
•Perform Fitness-For-Service assessments for corroded pressure equipment (piping, flanges, pressure vessels in line with ASME B31.3, B16.5, ASME PCC-1/2, ASME VIII, API RP 579) in line with GM EP PVV 721 and repairs recommendation in line with GS EP PVV 711
•Assess the condition of external coating, define paint systems for the repairs & ensure QCs at Site are performed
•Perform corrosion modelling using in-house software to develop a corrosion heat map of the TEPDK installations
•The corrosion team is located within the inspection department; if desired, it could be an option to support the inspection team part time on various tasks to get an insight into piping-, pressure vessel-, structural-, subsea-, or pipeline inspections
