At Semco Maritime you will be joining our dedicated Product Line Team in our Renewables Department. Here you will play an important role in the development of our offshore substation CPQ (configure-price-quote) application. We have the largest project portfolios within offshore substations worldwide, so you will join a company in growth!
Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for product configuration models and development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the offshore substation CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) based on the Tacton software environment.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Your profile & qualifications
You are someone who thinks in a data-centric manner as well as use your analytical mindset to find solutions for complex problems. Furthermore, you are comfortable with product modelling and configuration. Having electrical knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Configuration Engineer, you will be responsible for product configuration models and development, implementation, maintenance, and support of the offshore substation CPQ (Configure-Price-Quote) based on the Tacton software environment.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Development and maintenance of product configuration models
- Development of testing framework, processes and scripts including data testing
- Coordinating and developing integrations to business applications and databases
- Contributing towards modelling of the business data flow with key business stakeholders
- Participating in product modularisation workshops
Your profile & qualifications
You are someone who thinks in a data-centric manner as well as use your analytical mindset to find solutions for complex problems. Furthermore, you are comfortable with product modelling and configuration. Having electrical knowledge is an advantage but not a requirement.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
- Have a relevant degree in computer science, engineering or similar
- Having previous Tacton CPQ system development experience is preferred
- Possess excellent communication skills in English
- Have experience with stakeholder management and change management
- Have scripting experience, preferably in Java Script and Python
