Your position
At Semco Maritime we are looking for a service engineer with a firefighting background to join our DK team to support the service and maintenance of our clients’ offshore operations around the world.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Firefighting Service Engineer, you will refer to our Service Manager in Products and Technologies.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

This role will suit an ambitious person with a strong technical background from the energy sector. Furthermore, you are self-motivated and enjoy planning out your own work as well as being pro-active and persistent in your pursuit of the best solutions to complex problems.
You must also be an excellent communicator.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Firefighting Service Engineer, you will refer to our Service Manager in Products and Technologies.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Communication with customers and clients
- Providing service input to tenders and quotations
- Providing clients with remote support
- Practical work on-site onshore and offshore within firefighting systems like WaterMist, Deluge, Foam, Argonite, etc.
- Supervising works onshore and offshore
Your profile & qualifications
This role will suit an ambitious person with a strong technical background from the energy sector. Furthermore, you are self-motivated and enjoy planning out your own work as well as being pro-active and persistent in your pursuit of the best solutions to complex problems.
You must also be an excellent communicator.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have:
- A relevant education in engineering or a similar technical education within the mechanical or electrical field
- Knowledge of firefighting systems
- A technical service background
- Experience in operations and maintenance or project delivery
- Experience in producing work packages including method statements and risk assessments
- Experience with offshore work
