In Rig & Marine division we are looking for a structured and skilled Team Lead Engineering, who can ensure focus on tasks in a team, to reach the target of delivering fantastic projects to our clients. There are a lot of interesting projects within the green transition of rigs, her under SCR systems, Ballast Water Treatment Scopes, Energy storage systems etc. Also, we have an existing and still growing demand within the windcarrier market.
You will be part of the Rig & Marine department with 75 colleagues working locally and globally on projects in our division. You will report to Head of Projects, John K. Andersen.
Your tasks and responsibilities
You will be responsible for our engineering projects and the development of our engineering group and the framework within engineering to meet marked needs. Furthermore, you will be leading our engineering team that consist of four dedicated colleagues.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
· Responsibility for engineering projects
· Planning of engineering tasks and Quality assurance
· Quotation and estimation of engineering tasks including budgeting
· Coordinating resources including collaborative partners and consultants
· Coach, support and develop engineering Team
Your qualifications and skills
We imagine that you are someone with great leadership skills who can motivate people and lead by example. You are passionate about what you do, and you thrive in a position where you have responsibility and can manage to see things through to the end. You are eager to drive development of an area and collaborate with various stakeholders.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you have:
· B.Sc. or master’s in mechanical engineering
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from the offshore industry.
· Experience with the regulatory body and class approval process
· Experience within Engineering CAD and Calculation software
