Key Responsibilities
As Environmental Advisor – Reporting and Chemicals in the Environment team of the HSE Department, you will be the focal point on driving environmental performance in the organization and reporting our results internally, to headquarters and to the authorities. You will also act as subject matter expert on environmental discharges and spills, and interface with the organization to influence choices of greener chemicals, cleaner produced water, and reduced spillage. You will also play a central role in securing the necessary discharge and chemical permits that allow us to operate our platforms and rigs.

These areas of responsibilities will include tasks such as:

Focal point on discharges and spills to sea
  • Monitor spills and produced water (OiW and oil discharges) against discharge permit limits and report values internally and externally
  • Provide assurance regarding compliance with internal procedure, company standards and EU/Danish regulations including the annual produced water monitoring third-party verifications and resulting recommendations.
  • Review and report on the PW contaminant monitoring
  • Act as SME on permitted limits of discharges and drive the annual renewal of TEPDK discharge permits.
  • Review and update spill and discharge management and reporting procedures.


Focal Point on chemicals:
  • Act as team owner of the chemicals environmental assessment tool (NEMS) and the Chemical Validation Sharepoint tool (CheVals)
  • Provide support and guidance on compliance with OSPAR regulations to obtain chemical discharge permits from the Danish authorities.
  • Review and challenge offshore usage and discharge of OSPAR chemicals and report to ensure transition to greener chemicals.
  • Review and update the chemical management procedure.


Environmental Performance
  • Collect and review data for routine and ad-hoc reporting internally, to headquarters , partners and environmental authorities.
  • Act as TEPDK focal point for the headquarters reporting tool Pl@net.
  • Review and update the general environmental reporting procedures.
  • Support the communication of performance against targets through input into comapny dashboards.
