At Semco Maritime you will be joining our dedicated Product Line Team in our Renewables Department, where you will be developing solutions for our Offshore Substation AC Product Line. In the future it will also contain HVDC substations, floating substations, and PtX. Offshore substation industrialization is the key enabler for the green transition worldwide, and as such, your product solutions will need to reflect that. We have the largest project portfolio within offshore substations worldwide, so you will join a company in growth!
Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Senior Solution Engineer for Low Voltage you will be responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of the products and solutions offerings for our offshore substation product line.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
The successful candidate will be expected to form strong working relationships with the other existing teams e.g. in sales, tender, project management, construction, and most importantly, engineering organisation.
Your profile & qualifications
You are an experienced low voltage professional engineer with a product development mindset, preferably coming from a manufacturing or solution provider organisation. You can work collaboratively with others in an international environment.
To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
Having an experience from CTO manufacturing process, automation, or BIM is an advantage
The job will involve travelling up to 30 days a year.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As our new Senior Solution Engineer for Low Voltage you will be responsible for development, implementation, and maintenance of the products and solutions offerings for our offshore substation product line.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Product and solutions development and maintenance in line with future market requirements
- Proposal development based on the architecture framework and the client’s requirements
- Maintain knowledge on market demand and implement product improvements and requirements for product line to fit future projects
- Coordinate and secure strategic supply chain with Procurement, including cost-out activities
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap with input on new technologies from the supply chain, organization, and the market
- Provide supervision and guidance to the development and execution teams

To succeed in this position, we expect that you:
- Have experience with the design, procurement, and construction of, switchboards, UPSs, small power, and other LV systems
- Have experience with low voltage electrical studies, interlocking, dimensioning and integrations, cabling and installation systems
- Have experience with industrial layout design, routing, 3D modelling, structural and weight estimation of electrical components
- Have experience with interface management across systems
- Possess excellent communication skills in English
- Curious, outgoing and positive mindset
- “Design for X” development experience (fx for Manufacturability, for Operation, for Service, for Reliability Availability, for Test, for Integrations)
