Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies, and people around the world.You will join our Cities and Project Consultancy departmentAs our new engineering trainee in the department for Cities and Project Consultancy, with offices in Vejle and Esbjerg (you are free to choose your place of employment), you will be part of a strong technical team of around 15 colleagues.Here you can work with different tasks and at all stages from planning to design, tendering, construction, and operation. We get in contact with many stakeholders on the project, so good communication skills and a good understanding of people would be an advantage. You should also be curious to explore the surroundings and contribute to seek new knowledge.You will have the option of preparing input to detailed design, tender specifications, and schedules, and of coordinating with utility owners and stakeholders. You will also be participating in site visits to see one or more projects during construction, and to follow our construction managers and site supervision. This way you will be guaranteed a steep learning curve and can get the best out of your internship.In general, at Ramboll we want our trainees to continue as interns, so we can keep in contact during the last part of the study, and possibly to be permanent employees after the education.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:Design of road projects in CAD (optimally MicroStation)Assistance with preparation of tender documentsAssistance with evaluation of buildabilityAssistance with preparation of schedulesAssistance with health and safety coordination during the design and construction stageParticipation in construction management and supervision of road and construction projectsFrom the moment you join Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development.
