Your position
In your new position as Student Assistant in the Transitional Energies Division, you will be a valuable member of the dynamic Controller Team where you will have the chance to gain hands-on experience in project controlling and financial analysis. You will have the opportunity to develop your administrative skills in an international environment while learning from experienced professionals who will help you take your career to the next level. Above all, your work will make a real change for the global energy sector.

Your place of work will be at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry, right on the waterfront – views do not get any better than this. Also, we understand that student life can be hectic and have unusual schedules, therefore, we offer flexible working hours of 15-20 hours per week in coordination with your manager.
Your tasks & responsibilities
As a Student Assistant, you will work with project controlling from start to finish. You will gain experience with administrative tasks, monthly closing as well as financial analyses and reporting.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Supporting the team on cost controlling
Your profile & qualifications
We imagine that you are a structured, analytical and detail-oriented student who is focused on delivering high-quality work and has the ability to work accurately with numbers. Ideally, you already have experience with or a desire to use tools like Excel, PowerBI and RPA.

As a Student Assistant, you will work with project controlling from start to finish. You will gain experience with administrative tasks, monthly closing as well as financial analyses and reporting.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
Supporting the team on cost controlling
- Control of transactions arriving to the project: hours, expenses, materials/tools, issued POs to the different suppliers
- Creating and maintaining project reports
- Assisting in different ad-hoc tasks
- Supporting and adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards, in all activities
Your profile & qualifications
We imagine that you are a structured, analytical and detail-oriented student who is focused on delivering high-quality work and has the ability to work accurately with numbers. Ideally, you already have experience with or a desire to use tools like Excel, PowerBI and RPA.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Currently studying a bachelor’s or master’s in controlling, finance or related field
- Excellent communication skills in Danish and English
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Committed to delivering high-quality work on time
