Your position
As our new Senior Manager of Global Rewards and Mobility, you will join the People & Culture team, consisting of approximately 30 passionate colleagues, and report directly to the Chief People Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for the global rewards, compensation, and benefits agenda at Semco Maritime. Additionally, you will oversee global mobility activities, including expatriate management, while leading a small team of professionals. This position requires both a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to ensure that our rewards and mobility programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our business objectives.
The role is based at our Global HQ located in Esbjerg, the hub of the Danish energy industry – alternatively in our Copenhagen office. The position is full-time, and you can expect occasional travel up to 10 days per year.
We have invested in establishing a solid framework for both rewards and mobility. However, we are still to shape a comprehensive portfolio that will bring us to a level that matches our global growth journey, Line Bødker Høegh, SVP, Chief People Officer

You ideally bring 7-10 years of experience in rewards, compensation, and benefits, and preferably have a background in global mobility. Experience in a leadership role within a larger international company is preferred.

Your tasks & responsibilities
As the Senior Manager of Global Rewards and Mobility, you will lead strategic and operational initiatives to ensure competitive, compliant, and effective compensation, benefits, and mobility programs.
Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a global rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, and incentives. Lead key projects like Career Framework, Equal Pay, and Pay Transparency.
- Oversee the design and administration of competitive and industry-aligned compensation and benefits programs.
- Manage global mobility programs, including expatriate and project assignments, relocations, and immigration processes to support our international operations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing rewards and mobility team.
- Create and maintain global policies related to rewards, compensation, benefits, and mobility, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Partner with business leaders, HR Business partners, Finance, Legal and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of rewards and mobility programs with overall strategy.
- Utilize data insights to assess and improve rewards and mobility programs.
- Long and Short Term Assignments (LTA & STA), site operations, and other aspects of global mobility to support our diverse international workforce.
Your profile & qualifications
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Manager who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment. You ideally bring 7-10 years of experience in rewards, compensation, and benefits, and preferably have a background in global mobility. Experience in a leadership role within a larger international company is preferred.
To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:
- Extensive knowledge of advising on the areas in mobility and rewards and you have the confidence to drive change in this area.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a strategic mindset. Proficiency in using HRIS and other relevant software.
- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCP) are a plus.
- A team-oriented, pragmatic and structured individual with a strong, persuasive mindset.
- Ability to navigate areas of conflicting opinions and interests with resilience and stamina.
- Strong communication skills in both Danish and English (written and verbal)
