About the Team
You will be a key person in a small team tasked with the continuous development and maintenance of our product configurators and configure-price-quote (CPQ) solution. In our team we work closely with colleagues from both the technical and commercial part of the organization to define the optimal way forward. Product configuration is part of Aasteds core strategy and is an essential enabler for optimizing our business processes.

As a Product Configuration Specialist, you are responsible for developing configuration models of our equipment and services, consolidating design and business rules and ensure a smooth daily operation of our configuration system. This includes:
- Developing product configuration models
- Consolidating and documenting design rules
- Information gathering necessary to support the quotation process
- Developing functionality of the configuration system
- Testing and deploying changes and updates
- Provide support for our users
About you
- You like complex projects
- You can approach a task from a “helicopter” perspective and focus on the aspects that can drive change.
- You thrive in an environment with a high degree of freedom to shape you own daily work
- You like to be in contact with a wide range of stakeholders
- You work effectyively and take pride in delivering a thorough job
- You can apply a systematic and analytical approach to problem solving
- You are happy to contribute to the team's agenda with your new ideas
Professional qualifications
- Experience with developing and maintaining configuration systems
- You have a drive for complexity management and product configuration
- You have a master’s degree in engineering or similar technical education
- You have good communication and visualization skills
- You are an experienced user of Excel.
- Experience with Configit, Tacton or similar systems
- Experience with applications such as Visio or InDesign is a plus
- Experience with basic programming is a plus
- Proficiency in Danish is a plus, but not a requirement
- Both newly educated candidates and experienced experts are encouraged to apply
