On behalf of Instabox, Randstad is looking for an extroverted and solution-oriented Site Manager to lead a growing team of drivers and terminal workers at the Copenhagen hub. You will be provided with the full strategic and operational responsibility on-site in order to expand and optimize the business on an ongoing basis. You will be the motivational leader of 50-70 employees which during the next years will grow by 20-30 employees in line with the overall success and expansion.

Areas of responsibility


As Site Manager for the Copenhagen hub, you will be responsible for managing the terminal and driver operations to ensure outstanding but cost-efficient service delivery. As a leader, you empower the employees to effectively carry out their duties, to take responsibility for the business and develop in their roles.

You will be a leader on the ground, building the Danish business of Instabox from the ground up at the Copenhagen hub, which has the potential in the long term to become the largest hub across the Nordic region. You will join the Nordic team and collaborate closely with other managers around Sweden and Norway, while reporting to the Head of Nordics Production based in Sweden. As you can tell, this is an exciting, challenging, and influential role, and your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Leading and delegating the work at the hub
• Managing sorting and driving operations at the terminal to ensure delivery deadlines are met and without errors
• Managing the scheduling of staff to ensure cost-efficiency and motivated staff
• Ensuring the safety of employees
• Providing a good work environment and managing the budget for the terminal
• Being responsible for the recruitment, retention, and development of staff, including performance reviews
• Making sure that business is conducted according to company standards and policies

The successful candidate


We are looking for a senior operations leader with experience of managing a team of approx. 50-100 people. In order to succeed in this role, Instabox envisions that you have:

• 8-10 years of relevant experience within logistics or transportation from a similar position
• Experience as a manager from a company operating at a high pace of change and growth
• Solid leadership skills and the ability to function as a role model and motivator
• Proven experience handling staff issues, developing teams, and supporting individual career paths
• Good business acumen and a strategic mindset when e.g. making 5-year plans
• Enjoy being hands-on when approaching employees in production
• Fluent in English and Danish, both written and spoken
