An exciting opportunity to join CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in a key role for our client, a Global and world-renowned IT Company as an EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) Coordinator.

We are looking for someone with experience to take ownership of this role, impact the culture and maintains the highest standard of service whilst continuously working to develop our Company.

Working in collaboration with our clients EHS team and local management, this individual will oversee all matters involving personnel safety and environmental impact within a Data Center environment, and to develop, implement and support initiatives, processes and best practices to further support strategic goals and drive performance metrics.

Primary tasks include but not limited to:

  • Monitor activities that have the potential to compromise the safety and health of site personnel, contingent workers, contractors and visitors to the Data Center.
  • Act as the site representative during all internal and external audits. 
  • Participate in incident investigations, accurate recording of details, and implementation of corrective action for all work-related incidents. 
  • Implement risk management strategies & practices, and site safety programs.
  • Participate in the design and development of facilities, work areas, and work procedures, and make health, safety, and environmental recommendations accordingly. 

Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field. 
  • BS Degree in Safety or Health Sciences, or equivalent work experience. 
  • Knowledge of environmental, health, and safety laws and regulations that impact the company, including local laws and ordinances. 
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 standard or environmental management systems. 
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with the client, employees, and subcontractors.
  • English Verbal and written
  • Excellent motivational and influencing skills, with high levels of personal integrity.
  • Analytical/Creative.
  • Able to communicate and contribute effectively across all business activities.

Weekly working hours: 37 hours (Monday to Friday), however will need to be flexible at Manager’s discretion.
