The role as Master Data/Business Process Expert
Scandinavian Tobacco Group is transforming the way the Group is organized, working and doing business. Group HR is going through a transformation, where new profiles are being on-boarded to deliver on the increasing needs for global standardized processes, quality data and insights. We are looking for an ambitious Master Data Expert with a global and innovative mindset, to drive and implement master data governance with other Business Process Experts. You find passion and motivation in maneuvering in a cross-functional environment and have a proactive approach towards strengthening our processes and data across our Global HR community.
Your responsibilities will include:
The position is located in our head office in Gentofte, reporting to Director HR Technology, Processes and insights. Our scope is global, and you should therefore anticipate approx. 10-20 travels days per year, to which you will have some influence on when they are scheduled.
What is needed to succeed?
You have a solid theoretical background, preferably a master’s degree in economics/finance, and you master English, both written and verbally. You optimally have 3-4 years practical experience with system and process implementation, and you have strong IT skills. You can maneuver in a multicultural/global atmosphere, you understand the complexity of working in a corporate environment and you are a natural networker, allowing you to work on all levels of a global organization. You thrive in a transforming and changing environment. You love learning and trying new things, and you are excited about bringing your ideas to the table and taking ownership of your work. You are honest and dependable, and committed to empowering others. You are passionate about doing a great job.

The Global HR team is involved in the world-wide business of Scandinavian Tobacco Group which includes manufacturing sites and subsidiaries in approx. 20 countries and export sales to more than 100 countries. The Global HR team includes 120 dedicated employees located across our Group, from South East Asia across Europe to the Americas. We are busy and continue to have exciting and important tasks ahead of us.

- Engage with business and HR process owners to align master data and processes end-to-end
- Define and maintain data attributes, as well as business rules
- Ensure compliance to internal and external guidelines and maintain system specific roles and permissions
- Implement prioritized improvement initiatives on data quality
- Perform impact assessment for process change requests
- Facilitate regular meetings and forum discussions, following the process governance process
- Facilitate training across the global HR community on HR data, maintenance and quality checks
- Drive implementation activities regarding master data processes across the business – i.e. pay-roll, finance and IT
