If you are the kind of person who likes to do the same thing every day, working at Scandinavian Tobacco Group is not for you. Global Financial Services consist of 150 employees globally, being part of our Group Finance department. We strive for excellence in finance operation, including payroll, accounting and internal/external reporting. We are also engaged in many strategic initiatives, including Sustainability Reporting, Global ERP Implementation project and several internal improvement initiatives.
Your Job
In your job, you will assist with some recurring tasks but will also be responsible for own assignments and smaller projects. For the right candidate, we can promise you very diverse tasks. Your responsibilities and assignments will be within the following areas:
• Manage virtual collaboration across locations and teams
• Monitor the progress of improvement projects
• Plan and manage communication of project schedule
• Prepare project documentation, including status reports and meeting minutes
• Various ad hoc finance projects
You will have contact with colleagues within our Group worldwide as well as with external consultants in the project. You will report to Global Process Owner Finance and work at our head office in Gentofte.
We expect you to work approximately 10-20 hours per week and specific works days may be coordinated with your manager. We are of course flexible around exams.
Qualifications
You must enjoy working in dynamic project environments, with the ability to organize prioritize tasks. You have the natural curiosity in finding out how things work, and also how to make it even better. As many of your assignments will be to coordinate and communicate with others; you must be open and constructive when interacting with colleagues around the world.
You are probably studying economics on your third year at CBS or KU, or you are on your first year of your MSc. You work independently, systematically, take ownership and keep deadlines. You will work with colleagues on four continents and it is therefore important that you speak and write English fluently.
