The position
As Environment, Health & Safety Supporter, you will be driving and coordinating HS activities between the project owners and the production facility, supporting the managers by ensuring License to Operate, executing operational tasks, and implementing HS Strategy initiatives. You will also be working on relevant improvement projects. You will work closely together with your HS colleagues and the managers, but also across the facility in close cooperation with our Occupational Health and Safety Representatives and our Health & Safety Partner.

About the department
Our team is part of the BRD Finished Products Gentofte and Vaarloese area that is the production site situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 620 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities. Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees and include formulation, filling, freeze-drying, product inspection, assembly and pack. We bring value to patients by delivering high-quality Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) compliant products in a timely and cost-efficient manner. We drive change by working actively with LEAN and always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.

The position

- Health & Safety Management related to e.g., risk assessments, legislation and registration, Occupational Health & Safety prevention, incident investments and workplace assessments
- Risk Management related to e.g., risk assessment, fire risks and rescue, emergency plans

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:
- An educational background or experience from the healthcare system or other industries/organisations where processes and activities are centred around high standards of health and safety for employees and patients.
- Experience with health and safety in a larger, international company with high standards within health and safety.
- Experience in advising managers and colleagues in keeping, maintaining and developing a healthy and safe environment.
- Preferably experience from a fast-paced production facility but also have experience with slowing down when health and safety are to be prioritised.
- Full professional proficiency in Danish & English.
