About the department You will be joining Aseptic Production (AP) Expansions, an area anchored in Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approx. 20,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 50,000 employees. We are a newly established and growing area with the responsibility to design, plan and built all new aseptic filling capacity across Novo Nordisk to serve needs of millions of patients. We do it by rethinking our aseptic production facilities with the use of modern technology, as we are setting the standards for the aseptic production of the future. Facilities designed today which we will still be proud of 20 years from now. AP Expansions has a clearly global approach, where you will be working with multiple sites and cultures across the world. In this role, you will manage the Electrical design that supports the Instant Release ambition in AP Expansions in cooperation with our global engineering partner to secure deliverables according to local aseptic standards and authority requirements within design and implementation of equipment. Areas of responsibility will include:
• Drive elements of the quality, digitalization, and connectivity journey together with the technical work packages, QA and other key stakeholders
• Collaborate with other functions to secure adequate implementation of project
• Streamline design in multiple locations for future efficiency in technical development
• Coordinate electrical standards across 3 continents
• Setting technical guidelines for designs many years ahead The scope ranges from developing principals that will guide the technology tracks to hardware connectivity. The work requires an open mind with an attention to details and a close collaboration with process SMEs, technology teams, IT/OT and QA across the program. In addition, position involves a high degree of stakeholder management within the organization and with external partners. You will have to be part of setting the engineering standard and documentation for many years ahead. As the project is global, short-term travel to our partners and stakeholders aboard should be expected, roughly 20/30 days per year. Qualifications To be successful in this position, you have: • An academic degree in electrical engineering or a technical education and relevant experience
• Technical skills with electrical designs and maintenance, preferably in a GMP controlled environment
• Hands-on experience in designing and installing electrical systems and distribution in the most sufficient and efficient way
• Knowledge in electrical regulations for EU, US and China
• An excellent command of verbal and written English As a person, you set high standards for your work, and you are data driven. You are a team player who works well managing complex dependencies between different areas in a structured way. You also need to have a curious mind and can challenge the status quo in a positive way.
