Are you highly motivated to work with equipment? Are you passionate about qualification of equipment and make sure it’s always in control? If yes, then you may be our new equipment academic. The Position As an equipment academic you will have the overall responsibility for all equipments in the department, which includes incubators, isolator, climate facilities ect. You will be a part of the stability team but the work itself is across all four teams. The stability team includes 17 technicians and professionals. Core tasks for the team are:
  • Timely handling of stability and reference samples (receival/shipment), protocols, reports, complaints handling etc. - in parallel work on various other tasks such as equipment maintenance, problem solving, improvements, questions from authorities ect.
  • To safeguard stable equipment operations, and in collaboration with technicians making sure that equipment is controlled and calibrated timely.
  • Be responsible for the overall equipment and related processes making sure that we introduce/replace equipment, run improvement projects and equipment qualification. Our equipment embraces climate facilities, analytical equipment, isolators, incubators ect.
  • You will collaborate closely with our analysis- and stability-chemist and technicians and provide guidance and coaching securing success of the entire department. The position offers great opportunities for personal and professional development, your responsibilities will be diverse and reach beyond the department as result of your collaboration with other departments in BRD and areas in Novo Nordisk. Qualifications You are a chemist, pharmacist, engineer or similar. It is considered an advantage, if you have experience from the pharmaceutical industry and is used to work in accordance with cGMP. Knowledge about GMP regulations, climate facilities and qualification are also considered an advantage. You are professionally proficient in both written and spoken Danish and English. You experience with equipment qualification and have technical flair and interest. As a person, you are responsible, dedicated and have an open-minded approach. In addition, it should be natural for you to take the initiative and put yourself in play. You are good at creating an overview and have the courage to solve new types of tasks. You want to work with documentation in a structured way across both our department and in close collaboration with other areas (e.g. Regulatory Department (RA) or Quality Control (QC)). About the Department Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) in Gentofte is part of Novo Nordisk, which delivers products for the treatment of rare blood and endocrine disorders. BRD QC consist of five departments and handles Quality Control (QC) analysis supporting our production facilities. Our department's area of responsibility is microbiological analysis and handling of stability and reference samples. We are approximately 75 motivated and talented colleagues divided into our stability team and three operational QC teams.
