As Senior Purification Scientist, you will be product responsible for an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and support the life cycle management of the product. You will work together with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, and act as coordinator between QC, production, project organisation and Regulatory Affairs. Daily tasks include: Provide support and help solve and prevent issues in the ongoing purification processes, which mainly consists of chromatographic steps Create and keep central documents as master formulas, specifications, and stability protocols updated Make sure our regulatory files are in compliance and answer questions from the authorities in regard to our files Set-up yield and process optimisation studies in our in-house laboratory Participate in product- and process groups across Line of Business Build and maintain good relations with a wide range of stakeholders e.g., production departments, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, analytical departments, and project groups
Qualifications
To succeed in this position, you have: An academic degree within a scientific field such as biotechnology, chemistry, biology, or similar Experience from the pharmaceutical industry including 5+ years’ experience working with production, preferable with chromatographic processes Experience with project management or/and stakeholder management Full professional proficiency in English

Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply. In BRD we are not only supplying all Novo Nordisk products for Rare Diseases, but also using our competences in Biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. You will become part of a team consisting of 13 ambitious colleagues in the Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) API Manufacturing and Development department all supporting life cycle management of our API’s.
