We are looking for a cleaning supporter, responsible for our cleaning processes related to protein purification in the API production in Gentofte. About the position
Together with your colleagues in the process support team, you will support cleaning activities in the production. The department purifies proteins primarily using chromatography and crossflow filtration and your key responsibilities will be to support cleaning processes. You will take part in the day-to-day problem solving and be responsible for the monitoring programme. Further, your responsibilities include driving optimizations of the cleaning processes as well as validations and hold time studies covering the many different columns and ÄKTA systems in the department. You will ensure that the process follows cGMP and will play a key role in the release of product. There is a strong focus on LEAN-systems, which together with our quality mindset, drives continuous improvements across the department. We expect you to have an eye for detail and understanding of the functionality of our various types of equipment. You will be working in a busy, but socially relaxed and informal environment, where we emphasize collaboration, engagement, well-being and compliance. • You hold a degree within a relevant engineering field such as biotechnology, chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
• You have knowledge of GMP and experience with documentation according to specific guidelines and frameworks.
• You have experience in dealing with deviations and change requests.
• It is an advantage if you understand data, can work with, and visualize data.
• It is a must that you keep a cool head when a deadline is near.
• Knowledge of LEAN is an advantage.
• Driving projects and cleaning validations.
• High verbal and written communication skills both in English and in Danish. As a person you are self-driven with a ‘can do’ mind-set and you have an analytical approach to your tasks. You thrive with routine tasks, work systematically with here and now problem solving, but you also possess the ability and interest in working with improvements and execution of these. Thus, it is important that you are good at planning and working in a structured manner. We expect you to be optimistic by nature and possess an independent drive and initiative to solve relevant tasks that are not necessarily formally delegated to you. We work as a team towards the same goal and therefore it is important that it is natural for you to collaborate with all kinds of professions e.g., operators and supporters in the organization. The department is a part of Biotech & Rare Disease API DK. We are approximately 70 skilled and energetic employees divided into 4 teams, which are responsible for the purification of biopharmaceutical products. As a cleaning chemist you will be part of a team of 7 employees who have different responsibilities within cleaning and environmental support.
