Do you want to drive the process mastership through maturing and implementing Manufacturing Intelligence and digital solutions for our production processes? Can you identify data needs, based on business needs, and find a way to gather those? Are you motivated by putting data into tangible business upsides while collaborating with a broad spectrum of stakeholders? Then you might be our new Data Engineer in Process Excellence! The Position As the demand for products filled in Biotech and Rare Disease, Aseptic Production is exceeding all expectations, we are ramping up on production capacity. Therefore, we are investing in new production lines to support the demand while focusing on improving existing production facilities - and thereby also recruiting improvement professionals to ensure the best possible conditions and support for this journey. In this role you are responsible for digital process improvement initiatives with the focus on making sustainable solutions on our process excellence journey. You will define and drive the data architectural runway and ensure and support a harmonized implementation of MI and process digitalization solutions. In this role you will understand and navigate in a complex NN Target Architecture and scale project scope to fit purpose for the Digital Use Cases. Some of your main tasks will be:
  • Analysis of production data and development of data models to optimize processes and decisions
  • Implementation of data analysis solutions and the integration from the existing IT landscapes
  • Application of machine learning methods to predict and optimize production or process failures
  • Carrying out tests and quality assurance measures for the implemented solutions
  • Cooperation with specialized departments and external service providers to identify optimization potential and implement solutions
  • Develop and implement training and introduction measures for end-users
    • The work takes place in close collaboration with the rest of the team, where the working environment is dynamic, social, and informal, and emphasis is placed on humour, commitment, and unity in a busy everyday life. Cooperation will therefore be paramount, and we need someone who is motivated by being a team player. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Master’s degree in IT Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business informatics or similar in experience.
  • +5 years of relevant experience within data analysis and modelling as well as in the of databases and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in working in machine learning methods and technologies as well as implementing data analysis solutions in a high regulated production environment, preferably within a GMP regulated industry.
  • Knowledge in technologies like, PLC, SCADA, PAS-X, IIoT, Tableau, PowerApps and basic understanding of programming languages such as Python, R and SQL.
  • Profound knowledge in project management and change management.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English.

About the Department Our team is part of the BRD Finished Products Gentofte and Vaarloese area that is the production site situated close to Copenhagen. Here we are app. 725 colleagues who take responsibility for transforming Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients into the finished product that patients can use all over the world. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities.
