The position
As Business Support Director, you will report to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) API Denmark and be part of the management group. You will be responsible for shaping the future for our Business Support department in close collaboration with our management team. To keep up with our growing production demands, the department is planned to grow from the existing +30 employees, and you will be responsible for securing that growth. Your main responsibilities will be to:
• Drive the growth and development of your own department in close collaboration with your key stakeholders.
• Be part of driving the strategic development of BRD API DK.
• Evaluate and develop skills and behavior while effectively managing your team through consistent feedback and recognition.
• Secure transparent change management, sustainable succession planning for key positions to maintain stability in the area.
• Oversee the development and deployment of the strategy.
• Develop and execute project portfolio management, including investments, facility renovation, compliance, etc.

The Business Support Director will hold the overall responsibility for defining the Business Support on various areas including strategy deployment through LEAN tools like Hoshin Kanri, business intelligence and development and it is in all these areas the department is expected to grow.

Qualifications
You will be an important member of our management team because you have:
• Extensive experience in leading and developing teams.
• profound knowledge in change management and stakeholder management when it comes to implementing new ways of working.
• Experience from either project management or pharmaceutical production.
• Experience with strategy development and deployment, business intelligence and LEAN methodologies.
• Full professional proficiency in English. On a personal note, you have an analytical and curious mindset. You are motivated by challenging assignments, and you absorb new knowledge quickly. Finally, you are a role model of Novo Nordisk key behavioral values, fostering great collaborations, making it simple and taking ownership. About the department
Our team is part of the BRD API Denmark Area located in Gentofte, Hilleroed and Kalundborg. This is where the active ingredients, going into all our life-saving biotech products, are made by approximately 600 committed colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and biotechnological processes requiring a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees. The processes include cultivation, recovery, purification, and freeze-drying. We are producing at full speed in existing facilities while building and ramping up new state-of-the-art additions to keep up with demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in compliance with GMP. We drive change by always looking for improvements within our processes, but also in the way we work together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
