Are you looking for an opportunity to build hands-on experience with emerging digital technology? Are you driven by teamwork and a desire to design and develop Virtual Reality applications and visual solutions for the factory of the future? If so, come join our team as VR 3D based in Gentofte! The position As 3D Artist with CAD experience, you will be part of the Biotech and Rare Disease (BRD) Digital and Projects department within our Manufacturing Development area and support projects across the Novo Nordisk value chain. You will be working with a small team creating content for Unity based Virtual Reality (VR) training simulations.
Main tasks include: 3D asset creation for VR, based on high-detail CAD models. When necessary, creating 3D assets of industrial equipment based on reference material and measurements. Stripping and prepping CAD files from larger assemblies for VR optimisation. Texturing, shading, and rigging (when necessary) the above, implementing in Unity. Participating in the broader design and development of the platform/simulation, supporting the dev team with advice and ideas. We are currently on a journey towards becoming an even more data driven and automated organisation and we welcome you on this journey with us! Qualifications
The ideal skillset for this position would include: A degree in IT, 3D Art, Computer Graphics, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Game Development, or a background in 3D modelling and CAD. Previous experience with 3D modelling for physical product design and are comfortable in both production design and digital asset creation. Up-to-date knowledge of modern modelling packages and techniques (working in Modo, 3DS Max, Maya, Blender); Basic knowledge of modern game engines. Unity knowledge strongly preferred. Experience working in CAD (Inventor, Solidworks, Fusion 360, etc). Experience designing for VR and working in SCRUM teams is a plus. As a person, you see yourself as self-driven, passionate in what you do, persistent and have a keen eye for detail. You are able to thrive working in a “start-up” environment and work in a structured way to meet deadlines. For this position, fluency in spoken and written English is expected; Danish language skills is a bonus. About the department Manufacturing Development is a part of BRD with a team of over 650 colleagues working together to optimise and develop processes across six global production sites. Our field of work broadly covers the area also known as MSAT (Manufacturing, Science, and Technology). We bring value to our patients by driving innovation for the entire BRD, working with Industry 4.0, new technologies, biotechnology, and developing processes for both existing and future products.
