Summary:
You will be responsible for driving a profit growth agenda through strategic projects around innovation and simplification.
With this role, you will be setting the DtV (Design to Value) strategy as a lead to explore consumer opportunities based on strong insights and creating the 3-year innovation pipeline. On top, you will be driving NPD (New Product Development) strategic projects within the stage gate framework as well as simplification projects to identify opportunities and efficiencies in cost optimization in an agile way.
You will be also leading the annual Innovation/ Simplification ideation cycle that is a key input into our commercial plan agenda.
The position reports to the International Innovation Director, Europe Branded Division.
The location of the position is in Gentofte, Denmark where the Scandinavian Tobacco Group HQ is located.

What can you expect as an Innovation & DtV Manager at STG?
- Set the overall DtV strategy in connection with the annual commercial plan cycle and innovation pipeline.
- Deploy the DtV strategy with the brand's teams, validate through strong business cases, and drive the project stream.
- Lead innovation ideation and roll out to various brands/ markets with technical follow-up and continuous monitoring of innovation performance.
- Unified NPD/ DTV project management expertise from the commercial side leads the interface with Operations on NPD/ DTV projects across cigar and packaging.
- Utilizing your creativity to enhance our market position even further.
- Facilitates and drives bi-weekly project meetings for the product development community (commercial and supply chain)
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of information flow and project documentation between commercial and supply chain teams.
- Champions and facilitates execution of the NPD Development Process and documentation of high standard.
- Develop and implement best practices in commercial to optimize and speed up product development procedures.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
Furthermore, we expect that you:
- Have at least 8 years of post-university experience within Consumer Insights, Marketing Innovation or Brand Management backed by a strong theoretical background.
- Have accumulated significant insights into consumers in general, along with a proven track record of driving business development at either an account or a market level.
- Have a solid business understanding is a must, and experience with project management is a definite advantage.
- Like to challenge conventions when finding new approaches to get things moving. You have a serious appetite for walking that extra mile – every single day.
