Our business is continuously growing and right now we are looking for 4 experienced leaders to head up dedicated teams in our Manufacturing Development and Quality Control areas. Our focused on-boarding programme will prepare you for a life-changing career You may not have any experience with the pharmaceutical industry. What you do know is how to create followership, motivate, and set direction. Our 10-week training and on-boarding programme will give you the opportunity to expand your knowledge about Biotech and Rare Disease (BRD), our production systems, processes, and the way we lead in Novo Nordisk. You will learn and grow through mentoring by experienced colleagues who will continuously support and guide your development throughout the programme. Depending on whether you join the programme in Manufacturing Development or Quality Control, your tasks will vary. We will seek to match your background, skills, experience, and passion to a relevant Associate Manager position.
  • As an Associate Manager for a Manufacturing Development Team, you will typically head up a team of highly skilled specialists, professionals, and project managers. Our Manufacturing Development teams are responsible for implementing new technologies, biotechnology, and developing processes for both existing and future products. These positions have broad impact and involve extensive stakeholder management at different levels within the organization to ensure the best support.

  • As an Associate Manager for a Quality Control Team, you will typically head up a team of highly committed process supporters and laboratory technicians with diverse technical and academic backgrounds. Your responsibility will be to ensure smooth daily operations in the laboratory and timely delivery of samples to our stakeholder departments. As we are automating and digitalizing workflows in our laboratories, implementing new equipment and processes is also part of your role.

  • Qualifications We expect you to:
  • Have +3 years of leadership experience.

  • Hold an academic degree on minimum bachelor’s level. Educational background in natural science, technology or leadership may be an advantage, although not a requirement.

  • Be fluent in both written and spoken English. For the positions in Quality Control, speaking Danish is also a requirement.

  • As a leader, you see it as your most important task to ensure well-being and engagement in your team. You are a strong communicator, and your leader style is inclusive, empowering, and motivating. You enjoy being part of a fast-changing environment, while keeping overview and ensuring collaboration across business functions. About the departments Manufacturing Development is a part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) with a team of over 650 colleagues working together to optimize and develop processes across six global production sites. Our field of work broadly covers the area also known as MSAT (Manufacturing, Science, and Technology). We bring value to our patients by driving innovation for the entire BRD, working with Industry 4.0, new technologies, biotechnology, and developing processes for both existing and future products. Quality Control is based in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg. Here we are approximately 330 colleagues who support the biotech production with a selection of chemical and microbiological analysis of product samples, crucial for always making sure the product is in high quality and ready for release to patients. We bring value to patients by delivering timely and reliable results that keeps production in control. We drive change by always looking for improvements and innovation within our processes - testing and implementing 4.0 technology to make the process even smoother and faster for the benefit of the patients. Working at BRD, Novo Nordisk BRD is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, which is a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. In BRD, we are not only supplying all Novo Nordisk products to people living with serious chronic diseases, but we also use our competences in biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. We are more than 3000 dedicated colleagues working at six production sites in Denmark and the United States.
