The position
As a System Architect, you will make sure that every IT/OT solution in our area follows the overall Novo Nordisk Target Architecture and you will take the technical leadership and put your mark on the technical ambitions in our area.
You will get the opportunity to: Define and drive the architectural strategy for our area together with relevant SMEs located in the organization Create followship by the local architects and managers Create a network of architects within our area and nurture a sharing/learning culture Be visible to the whole area. Get to know the local architects and the production sites Secure that every solution follows the Novo Nordisk API Target Architecture Collaborate with and guide colleagues across multiple IT and LoB organization areas, e.g., project and maintenance teams, system teams, Product Management and IT architects from other areas and sites on our Target Architecture and Architectural Principles The current IT/OT landscape is diverse, with different MES solutions (PAS-X/Syncade, various control systems (DCS and SCADA), and several installations of data Historian, stand-alone equipment etc.). What are we looking for?
Your key trades include, but are not limited to the following experiences: You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in IT Software Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar in experience Strong IT/OT functional background (e.g., MES, WMS, DCS, SCADA, PLC, SQL) Experience as an IT architect or aspiring to take that role working with integration platforms and methods towards both on-premises and cloud Experience with data harmonization, publishing complex data to data lakes and data architecture As a person, you are energized by taking responsibility, not only for the System Architecture but also for ensuring cross organizational alignment and communication on different levels. You are proactive and curious, visionary and want to take the lead in ensuring we deliver a future proof and solid IT architecture to our stakeholders.

Digital, Data & IT (DDIT) for Product Supply (PS) Biotech & Rare Diseases (BRD) is responsible for IT and automation for the production sites. This responsibility spans across development and maintenance of local and global IT and automation solutions, infrastructure, compliance, and projects in collaboration with colleagues from global IT units and external vendors/service providers. The organization support one production area of BRD; Active Product Ingredients (API). In this unit, colleagues are divided into 6 teams handling IT/OT Support, Compliance and Projects. All departments collaborate to unite IT/OT across BRD sites and facilitate cross-organizational synergies. Joining Novo Nordisk
