As our new Mechanical Engineer, you will be welcomed into a team of 9 within Biotech and Rare Disease (BRD) and assume the role of equipment responsible on a filling line responsible for the filling of Hemophilia products. This will include handling deviations and implementing preventive measures while also leading improvement initiatives and optimisation.
Other responsibilities include: Equipment responsible on filling line L1 Validation/ Verification Deviation handling Conducting systematic problem-solving Contributing to process confirmation of skilled workers to enhance their knowledge of tolerances, fine adjustments, and other similar areas that drive optimal performance of filling lines.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of production equipment through continuous improvement initiatives and preventive measures
Qualifications
Your experiences include: Academic degree within mechanical engineering or another relevant technical background 3+ years’ experience working with GMP or working in a highly regulated environment such as the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, food industry, precision mechanics or aviation will be considered an advantage Validation and qualification of process equipment and deviation handling Understanding how mechanical adjustments, alignments, dimensioning and tolerances can influence our manufacturing flow and have an experience using these levers to improve performance Experience with LEAN is advantageous Fluency in English and Danish both written and spoken As a professional, you see yourself as a problem solver with an interest working with technical challenges and able to optimise production processes and equipment to ensure the delivery of high-quality products in line with compliance and standards.
You have a curious mindset and are structured yet flexible in your approach to reprioritise and problem solve where priorities can change regularly. You thrive on having contact with many people and can create a network with colleagues cross functionally to work together to reach ambitious goals.

Finished Products site Gentofte and Værløse is part of BRD. At our sites in Gentofte and Kirke Værløse, we are more than 750 colleagues responsible for transforming the API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) into the finished products for people living with serious chronic diseases. We work with advanced processes such as formulation, filling, freeze-drying in a sterile environment, assembly, and packaging. We bring value to our patients by delivering high-quality products in accordance with Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) in a timely and cost-effective manner as we constantly optimise our processes and invest in the latest technology.
