The position We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to establish and strengthen the processes within our project management office. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading the team through uncertainty, making decisions, and setting direction. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong decision-making abilities. Responsibilities for this role include:
  • Playing a leading role in one of three areas: Document Management, Cost & Procurement, or General Project Management.
  • Establishing and implementing project controls and communication processes through a team of project managers and specialists.
  • Providing informal leadership to the project team within your designated area.
  • Managing stakeholders and serving as a buffer between the organization and the project team.
  • Guide the project team through uncertainty by setting, and maintaining, a clear direction for the group.
    • Qualifications The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working within a project office or as a project manager, preferably in a CAPEX project. The Senior Project Manager will work with a large stakeholder landscape, and it is important that the candidate can manage stakeholders and serve as a buffer between the organization and the project team. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration).
  • 5+ years of experience working as project manager, preferably in a central project office or CAPEX project.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling, project cost management, or document management is preferred.
