As Metrology Responsible Engineer, you will be a key driver for ensuring that our production equipment meets our metrology related requirements, focusing on compliance and maintenance of their validated state. Your main responsibilities will be focused on: Handling metrology responsibility for all calibrations in the area to ensure that the equipment is ready for production within the pharmaceutical industry’s requirements. Being part of the daily support with expert knowledge for handling metrology related incidents. Changing request across organisational projects. Playing a key role in systematic problem solving, document approval. Ensuring that the solutions are in line with internal and external requirements.

Qualifications
Your experiences include: An academic degree in Engineering or Natural Science or a Technical Diploma in Metrology with 2+ years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry/ in a regulated production, with GMP knowledge. Experience within calibration, validation and measuring methods. Experience working with data. Project work and knowledge on LEAN processes. Professional proficiency in Danish and English.

About the department
Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Finished Products (FP) GEVA Technical Service is a technical department with approximately 80 employees with many different skills and education, delivering technical services and utilities to the other production departments at site Gentofte in general. Deliveries include Water for Injection (WFI), clean steam, compressed air, various gases, cooling, ventilation, and HVAC. Besides the production and supply of utilities, the department delivers several other services all over Novo Nordisk, e.g., Calibration and Metrology tasks. The department is responsible for an expansive project portfolio and has a dedicated team to support and deliver on this. It is within this Team Support that we are expanding.
Working at BRD, Novo Nordisk BRD is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, which is a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. In BRD, we are not only supplying all Novo Nordisk products to people living with serious chronic diseases, but we also use our competences in biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. We are more than 3000 dedicated colleagues working at six production sites in Denmark and the United States. Here we cover the entire production value chain where raw materials are cultivated, purified, formulated, filled, assembled in devices, packed, and distributed across the globe. As more and more people need our products, we support Novo Nordisk's initiatives in new therapy areas. Every day, we work to streamline and expand our capacity through process innovation, automation, and the introduction of new technology.
