The position As a Manager in MDEV Microbiology QC, you will be leading dedicated scientists and laboratory technicians.     Qualifications
    To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in biology, Pharmacy, Engineering, or another relevant field within the natural science, preferably with experience from the pharmaceutical industry.
  • + 2 years of leadership experience, within development, quality, or production.
  • Stakeholder management experience .
  • Full proficiency in oral and written English and the ability to understand and communicate in Danish.
  • As an individual, you know how to set the direction and the pace of ambitious initiatives in a highly regulated environment as well as the value of building relations and earning trust and respect from colleagues and employees. You bridge cultural, professional, and geographical distances with ease, always focusing on how to reach sustainable solutions in an ever-changing environment. About the department Microbial Competence Center, Biotech and Rare Disease QC (BRD QC) is in Gentofte, and consists of 40 employees, organised in 3 teams, team Clinical Support, team NGS Development and team New Methods. We have a central support function in relation to microbiological analysis of Novo Nordisk Biotech and Rare Disease products under development, as well as our marketed products. The department is responsible for development and validation of analytical methods from clinical phase 1 to Process validation and for the following transfer of the analytical methods to our QC laboratories. We are looking for a manager for team New Methods consisting of 10 employees both professionals and labtecs. The team tasks are project related and consist of qualifying equipment, automatization, developing, validating, and transferring new Microbial detection methods. Working at BRD, Novo Nordisk Quality Control is the part of Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD), where we are responsible for supporting the production with chemical and microbiological analyses. In this way, we ensure that our life-saving medicine for people with serious chronic diseases always has the right, high quality. We are more than 350 colleagues located in Gentofte, Hillerød, and Kalundborg. We drive improvements and innovation by, for example, working with Industry 4.0 to make the process faster and more seamless for the benefit of patients.
