Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned rewards professional to join our team as the Director of Rewards and Recognition and a member of the global HR Leadership Team. Presently, our primary focus is the establishment and leadership of robust pay structures that align with our commitment to competitive and performance-oriented compensation practices. If you are passionate about managing, developing, and implementing reward processes, policies, and programs on a global scale, with an emphasis on data analysis, pay structure optimization, and transparency, this role is for you. You will be based in Gentofte, Denmark.

What you can expect as Director of Rewards and Recognition:

  • Compensation Strategy: Developing and implementing a compensation strategy that aligns with the organization’s overall business goals and objectives.
  • Global Process Management: Lead, maintain and enhance global processes related to rewards and recognition to ensure consistency and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Career Framework: Complete the design of a global career framework and execute the implementation of the framework.
  • Incentive Program Development: Lead the continued development of a global incentive framework, encompassing sales incentives, annual bonus programs, and long-term incentive programs, with the aim of driving employee engagement and optimizing performance.
  • Salary Structure: Designing and maintaining the organization’s salary structure, including salary bands and ranges for different job positions.
  • Benefits Structure: Managing the organization’s global benefit framework, (including health insurance, retirement plans & pension schemes.
  • Committee Secretary: Serve as the secretary for the Remuneration and Nomination Committees, providing key insights and supporting the decision-making process. Assume responsibility for the preparation of the annual remuneration report and board evaluation.
  • Compensation Analyses: Execute comprehensive compensation analyses employing benchmarking data to inform decisions on future pay structures, striking a balance between global alignment, simplicity, transparency, and local operational freedom. Advisory Role: Be a trusted advisor to HR colleagues and senior organizational leaders on matters within the remit of rewards and recognition to ensure the adherence to fair and competitive compensation practices.
  • Directive on Pay Transparency: Ensure the company's preparedness for the Directive on Pay Transparency by staying abreast of regulatory changes and implementing necessary measures to comply with emerging requirements.

HR Leadership Team: As an individual contributor, represent a key pillar, rewards and recognition, in the global HR agenda, contributing significantly to organizational objectives.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter most for this role):

  • Educational Background: Hold a Master's degree in economics or finance, with a preference for candidates boasting a minimum of 6 years' experience in the rewards domain.
  • Proven Analytical Expertise: Showcase a track record of conducting comprehensive compensation analyses, addressing individual pay discrepancies, and adeptly working with job levels and benchmarking data.
  • Committee Experience: Demonstrate comprehensive experience in preparing materials for Remuneration and Nomination Committees, with a notable advantage for those who have previously served as a secretary for such committees.
  • Global Rewards Management: Present proven experience in the design and management of global rewards and recognition processes, policies, and programs, exhibiting a comprehensive understanding of equity plan design, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Possess an in-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and showcase a history of ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • M&A Proficiency: Experience with M&A and integration is considered a valuable asset.

  • Technological Proficiency: Exhibit proficiency in relevant software and tools for effective execution of responsibilities
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation, constantly seeking opportunities to enhance compensation and rewards programs, policies and processes.
  • Strong team player with a customer-centric approach and a passion for driving employee engagement.
