The Position As an Associate Manager, you will lead one of the six analytical teams in the department, which is responsible for a variety of biological and chemical analytical procedures. Your new department is characterized by high professionalism, a great quality mindset and an informal tone, and you will be Associate Manager for a team consisting of both laboratory technicians and chemists. Your key responsibilities will be to:
· ensure that high performance is met and that the team meets project, quality, and organizational goals. · ensure effective resource allocation in your team and implement quality throughout the processes, securing efficient and safe product release for our patients. · provide leadership and focus on continuous development of the team members through coaching and dialogue. · lead and motivate your team in a busy working environment with changing priorities to meet business needs. You will also be a member of the management team in BRD QC, and you will participate in cross-organizational projects and collaborations. Moreover, you will lead the way and be a role model in a LEAN culture where openness, honesty, and focus on continuous improvements are natural parts of your personality. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you: · hold a Bachelors, Masters or equivalent degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or other relevant scientific discipline. · have strong leadership skills and have the ability to take the lead and focus on deliverables (preferably you have a minimum of 2 years of people management experience, but we will also consider candidates with less experience if there is a match in personality). · are a strong communicator and able to communicate complex content to people with different backgrounds and skills, motivating them to support and follow your ideas and suggestions. · preferably have experience in QC, but at least you have an understanding for the analytical field from the pharmaceutical industry. · speak and write in Danish fluently. This position requires engagement and the ability to find solutions in challenging situations. Moreover, you are capable of looking beyond your own team, think cross-functionally and you understand what is best for both our employees and our business. On a personal level, you contribute positively to our department and enjoy working with people from different professional backgrounds who are dedicated towards meeting our common goals. You are eager to see things moving forward in a dynamic environment where projects and processes vary, demanding the need for your flexibility. You work in a structured manner with a non-compromised focus on quality and deliverables. You have a can-do mindset and focus on opportunities rather than limitations and provide the right balance between leadership and management to your team.
