The Position
As our new Manager you will be heading up a team of 16 highly competent and skilled QA employees, supporting API production in Gentofte. You will join an engage management team where key behaviors are driving the culture.
API is characterized by complex production and quality processes. We are all responsible for delivering highest quality to patients meaning you will make independent decisions with regards to Quality Assurance matters.
Your main tasks will be to:
• Lead, coach and motivate your team to deliver their best
• Assure planning and optimal use of resources in the team
• Provide professional sparring and guidance to team members in complex cases
• Assure the team work together to solve problems while ensuring product quality
• Build and maintain close collaboration with the production department and other stakeholders
Moreover, you will lead the way and be a role model in a LEAN culture where openness, honesty and focus on continuous improvements are natural parts of your personality. You will participate in translating department and area goals and priorities to address operational challenges across the department and team. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold an academic degree in engineering, pharmacy, or natural sciences
• Have extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, either in QA or aseptic production related roles
• Have some years of proven leadership experience
• Have strong GMP knowledge and a quality mindset
• Are fully proficient in English
On a personal note, you can take the lead and focus on deliverables and getting results together with the team and stakeholders. You enjoy leading teams, have a high level of personnel and competent decision making within the team’s field of responsibility. You have excellent analytical skills and are well organized and structured.
About the Department
Our department BRD QA API is responsible for assuring safe and innovative products for our patients. The department consists of more than 70 highly qualified employees led by an engaged and dynamic leadership team. You will be a part of a department where behavioral targets are driving our culture and where setting direction for quality is driven through quality oversight and our ability to support and drive improvements. We are producing at full speed on existing lines while building and ramping up new state of the art facilities.
Our complex processes require a high level of expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees.
