We are looking for a dedicated Market Manager, for a newly created position within our Network & Retail Management department, to strengthen our increased activities in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
As a market manager, you will play a key role in continuously increasing sales performance in our markets. Through close cooperation with our importers and active support in market development, you make a significant contribution to our success.
Responsibilities:
Your workplace will be based in the Danish head office which is located in Greve close to Copenhagen and you will report to the Head of Network & Retail Management, Nordic & Baltic. The position will require some travel activity.

We are looking for a dedicated Market Manager, for a newly created position within our Network & Retail Management department, to strengthen our increased activities in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
As a market manager, you will play a key role in continuously increasing sales performance in our markets. Through close cooperation with our importers and active support in market development, you make a significant contribution to our success.
Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the active market support of the importers in the MAN cluster Nordics (Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Baltic States) in strategic and operational issues.
- You will support the development of the “Go to market strategy” to ensure profitable growth and to operationalize the “newMAN strategy”.
- You will support the steering of the markets operationally, through monthly performance calls and prepare business reviews.
- Together with the markets, you identify sales potential and on this basis, develop measures to increase sales and ensure that they are implemented.
- You will support the sale of MAN service products (spot deals, tenders, campaigns, etc.)
- You will carry out sales and performance analyzes.
- You are responsible for prioritizing and solving inquiries and coordinating between importers and central business units.
- You will support other Network Development tasks
Your workplace will be based in the Danish head office which is located in Greve close to Copenhagen and you will report to the Head of Network & Retail Management, Nordic & Baltic. The position will require some travel activity.
Your profile:
- You have good results from a relevant higher education at master's level such as cand.merc, cand.oecon or cand.polit or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- You have a solid understanding of automotive, preferably commercial vehicle industry.
- You have extensive commercial experience and can document good results in sales and business development.
- Know-how about network development processes, across different trade levels.
- You are structured, systematic and possess strong analytical skills – are able to collect data, establish a decision basis based on this data and draw conclusions from it.
- Experienced in managing budgets and costs.
- You have strong communication skills and you are able to adapt communication to all levels in the organization, both with internal and external stakeholders.
- You master Danish and English in writing and speaking and it will also be an advantage, if you have knowledge of the Scandinavian language and cultural differences.
- You are a team player and contribute to the solution of our common tasks.
- You are familiar with Microsoft Office and especially an expert in Excel.
- Knowledge of SAP is an advantage but not a requirement.
