You will step into our international Virtualization & Storage team of 6 at our HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark. Here your experienced and passionate colleagues will welcome you to our well-functioning team.
We are a well-run IT organisation working closely together in a harmonic set-up across borders and supporting two of the most crucial areas of the infrastructure at DSV.
You design, build and manage the virtualization technology
As our new specialist, you will be designing, building and managing the infrastructure in both traditional VM-oriented infrastructure as well as container-oriented microservice infrastructure and handle the system administration. This means that you will:
Moreover, you will be part of our on-call duty schedule with a weekly shift every 4 weeks.

- Build and define the virtualization infrastructure to ensure that it meets our customers requirements
- Participate in large international infrastructure projects across DSV
- Support the maintenance of the VMware and upgrade security, functions, etc.
- Contribute to solving urgent issues and incidents

Are you our new colleague?

Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Have experience from a similar role working in a virtualization environment, either open source or VMware
- Have previously administered a container-oriented infrastructure supporting microservice-based workloads
- Have experience working within a cloud-enabled infrastructure – both private cloud and one or more of GCP and Azure
- Possess strong scripting skills in either PowerShell, Java and/or Python
- Bring experience from working within a SAFe project set-up and have knowledge of DevOps
- Speak and write English fluently
Additionally, it is an advantage if you have experience with or knowledge of one or more of the following tools/technologies: Jira, Confluence, Elastic Search, vRa, vOperations Manager, Terraform, BitBucket, Openstack, Kubernetes.
