Your new company
The company have specialised themselves in offshore wind, oil & gas and power generation, where they deliver projects, solutions and manpower to the global energy sector. Their activities are currently in the offshore wind markets in Europe, Taiwan and the USA.
Your new role
As Engineering Manager responsible for the overall project engineering scope. You will therefore be assuming the full technical responsibility within the commercial frames of the project in terms of cost, time and quality and manage both internal and external stakeholders.
Your work tasks will consist of preparing material for the budget and quotation phase, ensuring that the milestones, objectives and KPI’s of the project are met and make certain that the assignments are carried out according to the contract, schedules, specification and legislation. Moreover, you will be responsible for reporting all potential changes and non-conformities and assisting procurement during sub-supplier negotiations.
What you’ll need to succeed
This position requires a candidate with an academic and professional background within Electrical Engineering. You need to have experience working with High Voltage System Engineering and a proven track record within project and stakeholder management. You must be a problem solver who is not afraid to make decisions when needed and able to keep your team motivated.
Experience with wind and offshore projects is considered a plus, but it is not a pre-requisite for this position.
