Can you take the NKT production plant in Asnæs to the next level within HSE?
If you have solid experience within HSE, and you are looking for an opportunity to utilise the full palette of your knowledge in a role with maximum impact, this is just the right job for you. With “Safety First” as your primary guiding light you will build and drive an updated HSE concept/framework and as part of this secure our license to operate based on full compliance with relevant legal and integrated management system requirements. Broad responsibility from concept development to training
Based at site in Asnæs your responsibility covers local HSE activities in the Danish plant of the Applications Business Line. You have two overall goals: One is to support the customers’ satisfaction and NKT’s HSE performance by ensuring compliance to all relevant standards. The other is to minimise hazards and injuries with the ambitious goal of having zero incidents. Both parts requires networking, collaboration and visibility. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Monitor and maintain the list of laws and binding requirements related to work environment and environment (ISO 45001) in collaboration with the local organization and external authorities
- Drive initiatives for ISO 45001
- Support the business with information, advise and solutions to ensure legal compliance, as well as preparing and priming for audits
- Coordinate, lead and document regular HSE meetings/ AMO
- Implement HSE training on the shop floor and in the offices
- Implement HSE improvements across standards, systems and tools
- Contribute to knowledge sharing in our group-wide HSE team
To succeed, you must be able to pass on your personal passion for HSE and make people understand why it is so important. You will be reporting to Plant and Site Director, Asnaes.
Solid HSE experience from an international organisation
We are looking for a profile that can drive behavioural change/attention in a blue-collar environment where the tone of voice is open minded and direct. This calls for your communication skills including your ability to clearly state: “Why, What, How, Who and When”. At the same time you must be able to navigate in a complex international setting with multiple stakeholders. It is also important that you can work independently, coordinate internal and external resources and escalate when appropriate. Additionally, your CV comprises:
- Solid HSE experience
- Good understanding of Danish work environmental regulations
- Hands-on experience from working with ISO standards
- Experience with training – planning, coordination and teaching
- Good language skills in Danish and English, written and spoken
