BoConcept needs for the Finance department a student worker at 15-20 hours a week.

The position
As student worker in BoConcepts Finance department you will be involved in different financial tasks. You will be involved in tasks for the Group Accounting department which are responsible for the financial statements but also in tasks for the Commercial Finance department who analyzes and reports the business performance. Projects will be cross-functional but with a financial mindset to secure the data foundation for taking data-driven decisions. Tasks will vary from complex projects, to minor ad hoc tasks to routine tasks. Workload will be more or less stable during the year with minor peak periods (e.g. during month or annual closing). We will be flexible during exams and busy times at the studies.

Working out of the headquarter in Herning with possibilites, after agreement, to work from home some days as well.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Participation in projects (both short and long term) with data crunching and analysis (e.g. rolling forecast, pricing project etc.)
  • Support colleagues in Business Finance and Group Accounting
  • Making financial and company performance analyzes
  • Helping with preparation and optimization of financial reporting


Who should apply?
Your background is:

  • Studying Cand. Merc., Cand. Oecon or similar
  • Fluent in English

As an individual you are:

  • Quick to understand complex issues and can communicate them in a simple, easy to understand way
  • Analytical with sense for the details
  • Structured and systematic in your ways of working
  • Taking initiative and you are a self-starter who easily engages with others
  • Results and solutions driven and always make your deadlines
  • Capable of understanding the importance of communication and keeping people informed
