Compliance is an essential aspect of all solutions delivered by Cimbria. It is of the utmost importance that technical solutions are based on safety, as well as focused on ensuring outstanding customer experiences. Following the AGCO acquisition in 2016, Cimbria is undergoing a transformation, and there is a strategic focus on the development of the engineering department. On the basis of that, we are looking for a Compliance Engineer.
Guarantor for safety in design
As a Compliance Engineer, you will hold a key role within product engineering. You will experience a high level of cooperation with your colleagues in the technical department as well as in sales. Your overall responsibility is to achieve and ensure safety in the design of machinery, based on principles of knowledge and experience of the design, use, incidents, accidents, and risks associated with machinery. Your primary tasks will be:
We expect you to have an educational background within marine engineering or another relevant field of engineering or technical design. Furthermore, you have at least 5 years’ experience from working with compliance in a similar production. You are well-founded in the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC), and you have gained insight in process engineering and/or mechanical engineering from your previous jobs. In addition to this, you are experienced in working with technical material, production-drawings, and datasheets.
To succeed in this role, it is essential that you have a proven track record of acquiring knowledge in a production setup, and the ability to match it against machinery directive and standards. Furthermore, you possess great business acumen, and you know the importance of daily cooperation. You are known to be ambitious, to strive for the best within the given framework, and to have excellent communication skills in both Danish and English.

As a Compliance Engineer, you will hold a key role within product engineering. You will experience a high level of cooperation with your colleagues in the technical department as well as in sales. Your overall responsibility is to achieve and ensure safety in the design of machinery, based on principles of knowledge and experience of the design, use, incidents, accidents, and risks associated with machinery. Your primary tasks will be:
- Describe procedures for identifying hazards and evaluating risks during relevant phases of the machine life cycle, and for the elimination of hazards or the provision of sufficient risk reduction
- Create risk assessments and risk reduction on new developed machinery according to relevant European standards (EN ISO 12100 & EN 1127-1), and contribute to content in instruction manuals based on risk assessments
- Conduce to technical solutions in collaboration with Engineers, to accomplish risk reduction and contribute to sales support in close cooperation with technical product managers
- Gather electronic documentation packages for notified body and create technical datasheets on new developed machinery
- Update risk assessments and risk reduction on existing machinery according to relevant European standards
- Update technical datasheets on existing machinery
- A proven track record within compliance
