Everfuel is the new fuel company in Europe – providing green hydrogen for larger vehicle fleets like buses, trucks and taxies. Everfuel provides the missing link between renewable energy and green transportation as a partner, owner and operator of PtX plants, hydrogen distribution and hydrogen fueling stations.
About the job position
As QHSE Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of health & safety and quality activities and systems in the company and also in relation to stakeholders, suppliers etc. You will be responsible for establishing the safety and quality culture, building the systems and procedures related to it, auditing performance and conducting training. You will therefore have a key position in an environment where high levels of the QHSE area are key to the success of the company.
Reporting will be to the COO and to the CEO regarding the Business System. Place of work will be Høgild near Herning, Denmark but you should expect 30-50 days of travelling a year for example to the Electrolyzers Plant to be built in Fredericia or subsidiaries in Northern Europe. Your tasks will include:
- Health and Safety
o Ensure health and safety culture and procedures are in place and followed
o Develop processes and instructions for health and safety
o Perform risk evaluations, safety audits and talks with relevant personnel
o Conduct internal and external safety courses including updates for new employees and externals on site
- Quality
o Manage and develop a Quality Management System
o Internal and external audits
- Other
o Drive the development of work instructions and procedures in Operations and be the Lead Technical Writer
o Collaboration with authorities to ensure that all approvals etc. are obtained and maintained
o Collaboration with suppliers and contractors
Requirements
You have a relevant educational background most likely on engineer level with relevant courses regarding QHSE and you have at least 10 years of experience in QHSE related jobs.
You are structured, consistent and clear with documentation. You are focused on details but also highly productive to get things done. You have good interpersonal skills and can work both independently and in teams. You are proficient in both written and spoken Danish and English. As a person you are dedicated to your job and you want to make a difference to the world by working in a company that wants to make green transportation possible. You have the stamina to withstand pressure from various internal and external parties.
- Relevant technical education
- At least 10 years of relevant job experience
- Experience with health and safety within risk-based industry
- Experience with Quality Management Systems preferably as Quality Manager
- Ability and desire to write internal standards that are practical usable
- Danish and English in writing and orally for professional use
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP Systems
Advantages
- Experience from industry working with flammable gases under high pressure
- Experience with safety on-site work
- Experience with the buildup of a QHSE system from the start
- German in writing and orally for professional use
