About the department
Device Development is part of Novo Nordisk Device & Manufacturing Development (DMD). DMD is the bridge between Device Research & Development and Production, being responsible for development of variants and activities related to manufacturing of devices. In this role, you will be anchored in Device Development with 45 other dedicated colleagues, with different responsibilities within development and bringing the expanding portfolio of new devices & delivery systems into production.
The position
As Senior Project Manager, you will be the one leading the project team from early project initiation to launch. As well as ensuring project execution and deliverables according to the schedule and budget. You will be the point of entry for device production projects which includes securing design control, ensuring robustness, and manufacturability of new devices together with the various experts. The entire project relies on a cross-organisational cooperation and this is where you will play a key role. You will be at the head of device production, ensuring that the key stakeholders (device development, production, commercial, quality, and regulations for example) are aligned and work towards the common goal.

You will be handling one or more device development projects with the role of balancing the different stakeholder needs in bringing the device from early development to production.

Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Overall coordination of project activities with the large range of stakeholders across the organisation.
- Engaging and motivating the project team to maintain a high level of performance providing clear goals and purpose for the project and the project team members.
- Identifying and planning the various project activities related to bringing a new device into finished production.
- Planning and driving performance by monitoring progress, aligning priorities, removing roadblocks, and escalating.
- Continuously improving the way projects are executed by challenging the status quo, identifying process gaps, and ensuring solutions are pursued.
You will be handling one or more device development projects with the role of balancing the different stakeholder needs in bringing the device from early development to production.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
- Hold a Master’s degree in Engineering or any other relevant field.
- Come with Project Management experience from a production setting, a development organisation, or within a highly regulated environments (pharmaceutical industry, food, aviation, automotive…).
- Manage and drive several projects at the same time and focus on the strategic outlook for the projects.
- Have excellent communication skills on all organisational levels, be used to drive Steering Committees and interact with governance.
- Be proficient in both spoken and written English.
