About the department
In the Device Manufacturing & Sourcing (DMS) Digitalization and Automation team, we are trusted with the responsibility to discover, develop and implement the digital solutions that will make us the digital lighthouse we strive to be. We bring value to a truly global organisation by providing solutions that take us closer to the ambition of having no environmental impact at all, and still maintain a cost-effective setup at the highest level of quality.

Asides from infrastructural knowledge and experience with complex technological setups, this demands scrutinous analysis and calibration of our work culture, aligning how we do things on a site level.

The position
Overall, you will be in charge of our digital transformation, ensuring the establishment and execution of a concise digital roadmap. You will be heading daily program management and support scaling across areas while performing strong and respectful leadership for your team in general.

Innovation and development are integral to success in this position, among other tasks like:
• be creating and maintaining an environment that allows for methodical creativity to discover and develop ideas
• motivating, supporting and challenging the people around you to be the best they can be
• be responsible for around ten specialists, academics, and interns
• be trusted with your team’s professional growth and development

The impact of this job goes hand in hand with leadership responsibility – making you a very visible person in our part of the organisation. Not only will you be conducting daily board meetings and frequently tour the shop floor, but also be setting the specific goals that take us into the future – ensuring that scope and timely deliveries are maintained throughout complex processes where priorities may change along the way.

Finally, as part of your overall responsibilities, you will lead our digital transformation effort throughout our part of the organisation and further when needed. You will drive cultural change through your understanding of our value chain, your clear analysis of needs, risks and opportunities and your empathetic and yet challenging leadership.

You will mainly be working from our site in Hillerød, but some travel activity should be expected, both domestically to our sister sites and internationally when you collaborate with external vendors.

Qualifications
Since we are motivated to hold a strong sense of ethical responsibility, we expect you to lead through role-modelling with respect, trust and nuanced cultural understanding while ensuring we reach our ambitious goals in a timely fashion to employ our resources in the best possible way.

To succeed in this role, you:
• hold a Master’s degree within a relevant field like Engineering, Business, IT or Economics
• have acquired extensive leadership experience, handled cultural transformations and reached ambitious goals in a large organisation
• have proven your analytical skills throughout a career within manufacturing, external consultancy or inhouse consultancy
• have at least 3-5 years of experience with digital transformation journeys, LEAN implementation and process improvement in a multi-site sized organisation

When we meet, your natural leadership presence and analytic skills will be obvious to us by you demonstrating your previous achievements and how you see an organisation like ours moving forward. Through your communication skills you build trustful relations with ease across geographical, professional, and cultural distances and ensure clear goal-, role- and task understanding in your everyday practise.

Lastly, your curiosity may be another key to your success, proving interest to learn about value chains, processes, bottlenecks and all the little details that make it all work.
