Then we have the right position for you, as we are looking for a passionate Associate Manager for our Environmental Support team, who would like to be part of a highly skilled production unit dedicated to making a difference for people living with Haemophilia and other chronic diseases. The Job An Associate Manager for Biotech & Rare Disease API Denmark, Environmental Support team will lead 14 dedicated employees including operators, technicians, and professionals. As Associate Manager you will play a key part in the development of your team, and continuously improve performance as well as delivering excellent results. You will have the responsibility for coordinating and prioritising resources and tasks in the team, with the purpose to ensure fulfilment of our ambition to obtain a stable production in compliance, together with enabling us to produce new products. In addition, you will be a part of the BRD API DK production management team, and will work closely with your management colleagues on day-to-day operations and people management related matters. Your key responsibilities will be to:
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day environmental related tasks including environmental monitoring in our two productions facilities
  • Leading the Environmental Support team by developing competencies, coaching, and training the employees to ensure the right composition of skills to address current and future needs.
  • Ensure planning of environmental activities towards getting new products into our facility
  • Secure quality and compliance with the environmental external and internal requirements
  • Assist in further development of LEAN production and Kaizen culture.
  • Ensure long-term planning and execution of tasks and projects in an effective, systematic, and flawless manner
    • Qualifications To succeed in this position, you:
  • have a background within Natural Sciences or Pharmacy
  • some years of leadership or project management experience (preferably within pharma)
  • are experienced with production within pharma.
    • Knowledge regarding microbial organisms is an advantage in this job together with a flair for project- and visual management.   As a person and leader, you are authentic, engaged, and self-driven. You listen and respect the views of others. You have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate clearly and in an uncomplicated manner. Also, you have strong analytical skills with an interest in systematic problem solving. You are structured and proactive in your work and will never compromise on quality. GMP and LEAN is a natural part of your skill set. You will have several stakeholders across the organization, and therefore your written and spoken communication skills in both Danish and English must be excellent. To succeed you need to be able to keep a cool head and make decisions in a busy work environment where the agenda changes frequently.   About the department You will be part of a dynamic business area that produce Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for patients across the world. Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) API Denmark, Facilities consists of around 50 employees split into three teams and a staff function. We are located in Hillerød, where we currently produce Refixia® and Mim8 which are used to treat haemophilia patients. During the coming years we will embark on an exciting journey to include additional new products into our facility, thus becoming a multi-product facility.
