Then we might have the right job opportunity for you, as we are looking for an Equipment and Method Validation Engineer to join Novo Nordisk Devices & Delivery Solutions (DDS). The position
Your main task will be to support development projects defining relevant requirements and make them testable by acquiring the right equipment developing and validating the appropriate test methods. This includes qualification of test equipment, development and validation of test methods, supervision of test execution and measurement processes and develop testing competences to improve device development. In addition, you will collaborate with Device Manufacturing Development, where some of the developed test methods are used for the later release of products. It is important you have the creativity to develop new test set-ups but also have a hands-on approach and like to spend time in the lab. You will write, update and review work instructions, investigate and analyse deviations and take ownership in implementing changes. You will also be responsible for maintaining the validated state.
You will use your interpersonal skills to challenge status quo while focusing on solutions and opportunities. We expect you to participate in the ongoing efforts to further develop our methodology and standard procedures. Qualifications
We believe the ideal candidate for the position meets the following requirements: You hold an academic degree within Engineering (e.g. mechanical, electro, biomedical) or similar. You have strong analytical skills, and you care for details in your work without losing your general view. It is an advantage if you: have knowledge of electrical and software engineering and data handling skills. have acquired knowledge of test standards, equipment and/or method validations and how to navigate in a GMP-regulated environment. have work experience within medical device development and/or with design control processes for medical devices. As a person, you are proactive, have a ‘can do’ attitude and keep calm under pressure. You contribute to a positive work atmosphere and have a track record of successful collaboration towards realising shared objectives. You have a continuous improvement mindset and can easily navigate in the intersection between data, people and processes. About the department
DDS consists of more than 350 colleagues who work dedicated to design and develop innovative medical devices and digital therapeutic solutions for our patients. In Experiments, CT and Design Verification, we are responsible for explorative testing, development of test methods and design verification testing of injection devices and new connected and innovative solutions for drug delivery. Our work is a key part of the device development process, we collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, and we strive for excellence in everything we do.
