The position
In the DMS Device Metrology, IPC and QC area, our overall purpose is to provide measurements, measuring equipment, methods and inspections of high quality and with reliable data to guarantee device components within specifications. You will be joining the Metrology & Automation team, a great team of 10 dedicated employees – technicians and engineers with broad professional experience. We deal with design, implementation, validation, and maintenance of measuring equipment used for testing plastic moulded components and metal springs in our QC and IPC laboratories internally in Novo Nordisk and at more than 12 different subcontractors globally. In addition, we see an increasing need for automated solutions within the metrology field, where we are responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining new robot solutions.
In this role you will: • Be responsible for maintenance and service of existing robots and automated solutions
• Participate in NPI device projects where new components must be included in our metrology responsibilities and assess whether it makes value to automate and how to implement new solutions
• Engage in technical discussions with metrology laboratories, production sites, process experts and supplier
• Ensure high level of compliance of own work, be inspection ready as we do operate in a GMP controlled environment
• Proactively stay updated within the area of robotics and take part in share and learn from others internally as well as externally
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an innovative and solution-oriented mindset as well as solid technical experience from the automation industry preferable from the pharmaceutical industry or GMP controlled environment. We look forward to meeting candidates who ideally have: • Engineer B.Sc. or M.Sc. (within automation engineering, mechanical engineering or similar) or Technician within automation or similar
• A strong technical background, supplemented with min. 5 years of experience
• Expert in specifying and implementing co-bot solutions like UR Robots and similar automated solutions
• Experienced with IT systems such as Phyton, PLC, LIMS, etc.
• Experienced in using 2D/3D cad system ex. CREO or Catia
• Understanding technical drawings and in particular GPS (Geometric Product Specification)
• Fluency, spoken and written, in English. Danish will be considered highly beneficial but not a requirement On a personal level, you are pro-active and thrive with driving tasks independently to final implementation. You have effective communication skills with experience of working cross functionally and building strong relations with stakeholders at all organizational levels. You have cLEAN mindset – having a structured and analytical work approach, you can juggle several tasks while prioritizing your efforts optimally by keeping the bigger picture in mind. You will join DMS Device Metrology, IPC & QC in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approx. 85 highly motivated colleagues working in five teams. We develop and maintain quality control and test methods and control plastic and metal components used for manufacturing of our medical devices in Novo Nordisk from our internal as well as external production. Through cross-departmental collaboration we ensure a high focus on quality, robust processes, and new ways of operating and we are curios to constantly improve and challenge the status quo.
