Finance Partner for Device Manufacturing Development

The position As a Finance Partner, we look to find a person early in their career, to be responsible for the financial management and partnering to our Device Manufacturing Development business unit, being part of a global organisation responsible for building the future device portfolio of Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, you will be involved in execution of core financial processes in our annual wheel and other activities around financial management and digital finance. All in all, it is a position offering you a steep learning curve with plenty of exciting opportunities to make an impact, where you will help ensure strong financial tracking and development of your Financial Planning and Analysis capabilities. As a Finance Partner, your responsibilities will include: Operating the annual financial wheel of financial reporting and budgeting for Device Manufacturing Development operating costs, ensure that we are transparent and in good control Delivering high quality fact-based insights and forecasting to support business decisions and actions Driving competitive value creation by linking finance activities to business priorities, and ensuring connection between business plans, activities, and optimal resource allocation, and delivering trusted finance business partnering to support decision making Continuously improve productivity by optimization and visualization of financial insights and processes through digital finance and improving ways of working Qualifications To thrive and succeed in this role, you possess: Master’s degree within Finance, Economics or Accounting (cand.merc., cand.oecon., cand.polit or similar) within 1-3 years of working experience within finance areas Good understanding of financial management and controlling, as well as experience within Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is an advantage Experience with BI tools (tableau, PowerBI etc.) as well as SAP is an advantage, but not a pre-requisite, but an appetite to explorer and work with these Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential Proficiency in both oral and written English Good communication and presentation skills As a person, you come with a high level of initiative and energy, a strong motivation for combining finance and business partnering to line of business, and a willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. Furthermore, you expect to: Be structured, analytical and have a feeling for what is going on in the business Drive tasks and projects forward independently Thrive in a flexible, fast-paced and multicultural environment Be self-driven and proactive striving to learn and to achieve ambitious goal Pay timely and appropriate attention to details when needed About the department You will report into the Finance Manager of the Business Finance team developing and driving financial management within operational costs and manning. We are responsible for the Contract Manufacturing & Sourcing, Devices & Sustainability (CSDS) area across all product portfolios, external contributors and on behalf of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT. This includes sourcing operations, strategic sourcing, manufacturing and development of devices and needles, management of all contract manufacturers and local manufacturing in strategic markets.
