As our new Senior Engineer, your key tasks will include: • Developing and validating new test methods for primary packaging. • Establishing, qualifying, and maintaining test equipment. • Participating in device development projects as the functional lead for test method development and validation. • Identifying opportunities for improvement and driving initiatives to enhance our processes and equipment. • Exploring new technologies for future device testing and generating ideas for test utilization. Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect that you: • Hold a master’s degree in engineering (e.g., materials, mechanical, biomedical) or a similar field. • Possess 5-8 years of work experience and in-depth knowledge of equipment qualification. • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. • Have experience in project management. • Possess knowledge of test standards, equipment, and/or method validations, as well as the ability to navigate in a GMP-regulated environment. • Have work experience in medical device development and/or with design control processes for medical devices. As a person, you are proactive, have a ‘can do’ attitude, and keep calm under pressure. You contribute to a positive work atmosphere and have a track record of successful collaboration towards realizing shared objectives. You have a continuous improvement mindset and can easily navigate in the intersection between data, people, and processes. About the department Testing & Verification play an important role in the medical device and primary packaging development process, as we deliver specialized exploratory testing and design verifications. It is our responsibility to specify, develop, purchase, and validate new test equipment to support and conduct verification testing of medical devices.
