The position As the Associate Manager for Project Engineering - Moulds, you will lead an expanding team of highly skilled professionals, currently comprising 12 engineers, dedicated to bringing new injection moulding tools into our expanding network of global moulding capacity. Your main responsibilities will be to ensure:
  • Staff motivation and engagement through coaching and sparring, as well as development of skills and training of staff. Setting and implementing technical and strategic direction for the team;
  • Effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Timely executing of injection moulding tool commissioning projects;
  • Improvement of injection moulding tool concepts;
  • A technically capable network of mould makers able to supply tools and spare parts to Novo Nordisk in the right quality, at the right time and at the right cost;
  • Effective and data driven problem-solving related to injection moulding tools and processes, with the application of cLEAN principles.
    • In your role as an Associate Manager, you will become part of the department’s management team of currently 4 Associate Managers and the department head. We oversee and deliver to a large project portfolio and play an active role in many different projects with high technical complexity and involvement with many internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you have:
  • At least 3 years of management experience
  • A degree in Engineering (likely mechanical/production), Science or another relevant field
  • Experience with injection moulding tools
  • Fluent in Danish and English
    • Experience from the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus and so is knowledge of operation of production equipment and validation. As a leader, you are authentic and experienced in creating team commitment and collaborative environments, you navigate both short-term problem-solving and long-term organizational development adeptly. About the department You will join Global Moulding Engineering in Hillerød, Denmark. We are approximately 65 highly motivated colleagues. We deliver technical sourcing, commissioning and operational support of moulding equipment for plastic components in our global network of equipment suppliers and contract manufactures as part of the supply chain serving Novo Nordisk’s patients with injection devices. Through strong collaboration we ensure high focus on quality, robust processes and new ways of operating and we are curious to constantly improve and challenge status quo.
