The Position As Head of Oral Delivery Systems Development, you will be managing a development team with 10+ projects focused on the development of packaging solutions for oral drug products. The team consists of 12+ project managers and development engineers who play a crucial role in maintaining and developing needed capabilities enabling us to deliver on the oral project portfolio. Your main responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring the development process remains up to date, effective for its intended purpose, and establishing a standardized way of working.
  • Managing project execution within oral delivery systems projects, ensuring the implementation of strategically important projects for Novo Nordisk.
  • Overseeing people processes and development, providing ongoing feedback on performance and developmental tasks.
  • Establishing clarity around project execution by engaging with management stakeholders, both internally and externally.
    • Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or relevant field.
  • Have at least 5 years of people management experience and a track record of delivering impactful results.
  • Be familiar with project management in a product development context.
  • Have previous experience with drug products, manufacturing development, flexible packaging ideally in a regulated environment, preferably in the oral drug products or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.

About The Department We are a part of Novo Nordisk Devices & Delivery Solutions, which is responsible for the development of delivery systems both oral, injectables, and medical devices for disease treatment within all business areas of Novo Nordisk A/S. The projects that we manage range from primary packaging for device/ combination products, to manual pre-filled syringes through bottles and blisters for oral tablets. We stand in front of a growing and very exciting oral portfolio with new treatments for our patients and new potential for Novo Nordisk. We must meet real user needs for the benefit of people with different chronic diseases. The department consists of world-class project managers, development engineers, and specialists, responsible for managing and developing the delivery systems together with many important stakeholders across Novo Nordisk as well as external partners.
