As Senior QA Manager within medical device you will join the DDS Quality leadership team and resume management responsibility for a QA team of 8-12 people. DDS Quality currently consists of 30+ QA employees, and we are growing fast. Your team’s focus will be quality assurance on pen injector projects within diabetes, obesity, and other newer therapeutic areas. As we are currently revising our organization, the exact team constellation has not yet been fully settled.
Your main responsibilities will be focused on: Developing and leading a team of highly motivated QA employees Securing QA support for pen injector device projects and for regulated DDS activities Setting direction and guide team on QA specific matters incl. how to interpret regulations in accordance with the Novo Nordisk way of working Resource assignment, stakeholder management and close interaction with project managers and fellow line managers across the organization Continuous improvement of processes and ways of working as part of the team’s strategic objectives
You will be involved in the development of the QA department, playing a key role in driving new strategic- and improvement initiatives. You will be instrumental in building up a new QA group focused on design verification support towards our lab facilities, and in the initiation of a new QA team in our Global Business Support center in Bangalore, India. Qualifications
To be a competitive candidate, you should have: An academic degree in natural sciences or engineering and proven experience within device development Strong QA professional background and have worked as QA in MedTech, preferably within device development (ISO13485 and CFR820) Demonstrated management skill set with a minimum of 3 years of management experience Ability to constructively engage with stakeholders and navigate in cross organizational stakeholder landscapes Exposure to international project-centered environments with diverse nationalities and cultures Experience building and leading cross-site teams will be a benefit

DDS Quality is organizationally anchored as part of R&D Quality. We are responsible for covering all quality aspects in the Novo Nordisk Device R&D portfolio, which includes mechanical devices and Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). Additionally, we are closely involved in Quality Management System process development, supervising the quality standards of our suppliers, and conducting audits and inspections.
We are an international team of 30+ passionate experts in the realm of quality assurance, hailing from varied backgrounds. While the majority are positioned in Hillerød, Denmark, we additionally have experts operating from offices in Søborg as well as Seattle, Boston, and Fremont, USA.
